    Sigfox may update this Privacy and Cookies Policy from time to time. You will be informed of any substantial changes. By continuing to use the Sigfox Partner Network after Sigfox has modified the Terms, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by the modified Privacy and Cookies Policy. If the modified Privacy and Cookies Policy are not acceptable to you, please cease using the Sigfox Partner Network.
    So please read it carefully and review the relevant pages regularly.
    Any reference in the Privacy and Cookies Policy to “you” or “your” means you as a registered or unregistered business user of the Sigfox Partner Network.
    This Privacy and Cookies Policy applies to the use of the Sigfox Partner Network and does not extend to any linked third party sites.

  • What is the Sigfox Partner Network?
  • The Sigfox Partner Network is an online platform that enables (i) unregistered or registered user to view Products/Services and their characteristics, (ii) registered user (“Member”) to contact and interact with other Members about the Products/Services and (iii) to some Members registered as “Partner” to manage information they display about their company and their Products/Services through the Sigfox Partner Network.

  • Personal information that you give us

    Personal information means any information relating to a natural person who is or can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to them.
    Although sections of the Sigfox Partner Network may be viewed simply by visiting the Sigfox Partner Network, in order to access some content and/or additional features offered by the Sigfox Partner Network, you may need to register as a Member. While creating an account and your profile (and/or updating your account and your profile), we may receive personal information about you. This consist of information such as your last name, your first name, the name of your company you work for, your position within this company, your business email, your business number phone, as well as information collected about your use of the Sigfox Partner Network.
    Sigfox also receives, stores and processes personal information that you make available to Sigfox when accessing or using the Sigfox Partner Network.
    Please note that Sigfox will never ask you to provide sensitive personal information as such term is defined in the French Act n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing, Data Files and Individual Liberties Amended by the Act of 6 August 2004 and the Act of 24 August 2011 (the “French Data Protection Act”).

    Log Data

    Sigfox may also receive, store and process log data, which is information that is automatically recorded by our servers whenever you access or use the Sigfox Partner Network, regardless of whether you are a registered user or logged in to your account, such as your IP Address, the date and time you access or use the Sigfox Partner Network, the hardware and software you are using, referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, and the amount of time spent on particular pages.

    Cookies and other Tracking Technologies

    Sigfox uses cookies and other similar technologies, on the Sigfox Partner Network. Please refer to article 10 of this Privacy and Cookies Policy for more details.

  • How does Sigfox use and process the personal information it collects about me?
  • You acknowledge that the Sigfox Partner Network may only be used for business purposes. Hence, Sigfox will always use and process your personal information associated with the company identified in your profile page.
    Your personal information will be processed in accordance with the French Data Protection Act.
    Sigfox will use your personal information for a number of purposes including the following:
    • to enable you to access and to use the Sigfox Partner Network;
    • to deal with your requests and enquiries;
    • to send you service, support and administrative messages, such as reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts…
    • to contact you about a Contribution you have made;
    • to stop any illegal, inappropriate or objectionable Contributions;
    • for analysis purposes so that Sigfox may improve the services it offered;
    • to provide you with the most user-friendly navigation experience;
    Sigfox may also use, process and disclose aggregated Information (which is personal information about all of Sigfox Partner Network or specific groups or categories of users of the Sigfox Partner Network that Sigfox anonymizes and combines together so that it no longer identifies or references an individual user) for marketing and strategic development and analytical purposes.

  • How Sigfox uses and processes Members communications?
  • Sigfox may, either directly or through third party, review, scan, or analyze your communications with other Members exchanged via the Sigfox Partner Network for, xxx,xxx,xxx investigation, compliance with the Terms and customer support purposes. Sigfox will not review, scan, or analyze your communications for sending third party marketing messages to you. Sigfox will also not sell these reviews or analyses of communications to third parties. Sigfox will use automated methods to carry out these reviews or analyses where reasonably possible. However, from time to time we may have to manually review some communications. By using the Sigfox Partner Network, you consent that Sigfox, in its sole discretion, may, either directly or through third party companies review, scan, analyze, and store your communications, whether done manually or through automated means.

  • Does Sigfox share my personal information with third party?
  • Sigfox will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies) or as described below:
    • The information completed in your profile page and your project page(s), as applicable, may be disclosed as contact details to Sigfox national network operators for business purposes.
    • Your Contributions may be disclosed to Sigfox‘ affiliates which may contact you for business purposes related to the Sigfox network. These affiliates comply with the same obligations that Sigfox have to protect your Personal Information.

  • How long does Sigfox keep my personal information?
  • Sigfox holds your personal information on its systems for as long as is necessary for your activity on the Sigfox Partner Network, If your account is canceled your personal information stays on the system for a period up to one year for administration purposes before being deleted or anonymized for analytical purposes.

  • How can I find out what personal information Sigfox holds about me?
  • Under the French Data Protection Act you have the right to request a copy of the personal information Sigfox holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. Sigfox may require proof of identification to verify your request. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files.
